| Doctor
Who
Travels in Time and Space (Tin)
This superbly illustrated, numbered limited edition tin contains
the complete and unabridged readings of the first-ever Doctor
Who novelisations, each read by William Russell and enhanced
with original music and special effects. This is the first and
only time these readings will be available on CD.
Doctor Who and the Daleks is the Doctor's
first exciting adventure with the ruthless natives of the planet
Skaro, and the book in which Ian Chesterton and Barbara Wright
join the Doctor and Susan aboard the TARDIS. In Doctor
Who and the Crusaders, the scene of adventure is
the 12th Century Holy Land, where the TARDIS crew encounters Richard
the Lionheart. Doctor Who and the Zarbi
finds the TARDIS drawn to the remote planet Vortis, on which the
Doctor and his companions encounter a host of alien creatures
including the Menoptera, the Animus and the Zarbi.
Reader William Russell also talks exclusively about each of the
novels and his memories playing Ian Chesterton in the original
Doctor Who series.

Hercule
Poirot's Christmas
A BBC Radio 4 full-cast dramatisation starring Peter Sallis as
the great Belgian detective. Tyrannical millionaire Simeon Lee
has been estranged from most of his family for years, but on Christmas
Eve, he calls them all together. The children gather, wondering
about their father's intentions. Does he want to clear up past
misunderstandings or cause fresh mischief? Before they can find
out, a deafening crash is heard overhead. Rushing upstairs, they
discover a shocking sight: Simeon Lee is lying in a pool of blood,
his throat cut. But it is the strangest thing - the door has been
locked from the inside and there is no trace of the murderer.
With so many possible suspects, it is lucky for Superintendent
Sugden that the Chief Constable has his old friend Hercule Poirot
staying with him. It seems to be an impossible case. But, as Poirot
knows only too well, things aren’t always as they seem.

Sceptered Isle: Empire
Volume 1
This eagerly awaited follow-up to Christopher Lee's acclaimed
BBC Radio 4 series focuses on how Britain build the biggest empire
the world has ever known. At one time a quarter of the global
land mass was British. Over a third of the world was insured at
Lloyds. Truly, the sun never set on this historical phenomenon.
The story of the British Empire is one of enormous personalities,
adventure, scientific and maritime development and the building
of an incredibly complex international administration. Volume
One begins with the colonisation of Ireland by Henry II in 1155
and moves though the Elizabethan era of exploration and colonisation
ending with the British defeat at Yorktown and the independence
of the United States of America.
