4 At the Store
Recorded live at London's Comedy Store, funny-man Ross Noble hosts an evening of cutting-edge stand-up comedians from London’s Comedy Store. These two programmes, first heard on BBC Radio 4, feature Richard Ayoade, Ronnie Golden, Milton Jones, Reginald D Hunter, Boothby Graffoe and Giorgio Serci, and Dara O’Briain. Each has a different style from Ayoade's jazzy riffs about Plymouth to O'Briain's whimsical wafflings on his granny's military funeral. Ross Noble certainly has his hands full keeping this lot under control!

Last of the Summer Wine
Volume 1

Now on CD, four vintage episodes featuring Compo, Foggy and Clegg as they wreak havoc across the Yorkshire dales. Nora goes on the rampage when one of Compo’s ferrets escapes into her house, Sid decides to install a new bell in the café, Clegg communicates with plants, and Foggy’s interest with a Welsh widow makes the lads too curious to stay put. They may be as wrinkled as Nora’s stockings, but their humour is as fresh as the Yorkshire air.
The episodes on this CD are:

Ferret Come Home (9 November 1977) / Getting on Sydney’s Wire (16 November 1977) / Flower Power Cut (30 November 1977) / Who Made a Bit of a Splash in Wales, Then? (7 December 1977)

Morecambe and Wise: Bring Me Sunshine
Volume One

The greatest double act on British television is now available on CD. This collection of magic moments includes Ernie the male model, Eric and his fast-growing moustache seeds, and the day little Ern (he of the short, fat, hairy legs) was asked to be Bob Hope’s head waiter (sorry, head writer). There’s the first meeting in a London teashop between Lord Byron and Keats, as well as Eric’s name change by ‘deed pill’ (‘no wonder it hurt’).

Peter Tinniswood
Uncle Mort's North and South Country
These two much-loved series, originally available as separate cassette releases, featured the late Peter Tinniswood's legendary creations Uncle Mort and Carter Brandon. As the pair tour Britain, Uncle Mort's recollections make for some hilarious moments. In Uncle Mort's North Country, Carter Brandon decides to take a series of trips around the north with his uncle Mort for company. From day one, the excitement begins with a burning barn and a death in the pub where they stop for a drink.

In Uncle Mort's South Country, the famous sons of the north find a fruitful new patch of Tinniswood country in which to air their views. Soho and Hampton Court, southern hotels and southern pubs, southern beer and southern food - that caustic one-nation philosopher, Uncle Mort, has to stomach them all. Also included in this release is an interview with Peter Tinniswood, who died in 2003.
