The range of skills and type of projects varies grately from application and website design to interactive flash animations and desktop widgets.

We have recently begun using a User Centred Design approach to our projects. This combined with agile development techniques allow us to literally build up a picture of who we are designing for and their primary goals.

Technology is key and we pro-actively keep a breast of new technologies such as Silverlight, Adobe Air and Ajax.

We are looking for exceptionally creative people who can adapt and develop in an ever changing and exciting profession.

What's it like to work here...

Johan, UI Developer

Johan

Working as a UI Developer at BBC Worldwide brings a world of opportunities to your doorstep. We get to work on an impressive array of projects and technology. One day you might be working on a new template for an international TV channel the next helping improve a online video editing tool in the latest Microsoft or Adobe technology for our internal customers. All this whilst working with great people that strive to help each other grow and produce the best experience for the audience, anywhere in today's media.

Where else can do you get the chance to work with BBC's quality catalogue of content on a global scale. This is one job where you really can say the world is watching. Plus as a bonus you get the opportunity to rub shoulders with some of the celebrities you knew the world was watching. At the same time this brings a great responsibility, we need to make sure that we respect the diversity of the people we serve and try to bring our great content to the widest audience possible. It's a marvellous challenge to face everyday.

In conclusion I think we really do live up to the name, the BBC - Worldwide.
