The current scope of the Financial Systems team includes managing and administering the SAP R3 and BW production systems ensuring integrity, accuracy and timeliness of data across the SAP system landscape.
The team provide support for a growing worldwide community of business users dependant upon the availability of SAP in real-time across 3 time zones 5 days a week, 52 weeks a year, in order to perform their daily business transactions such as the ability to create purchase orders, sales orders & deliveries; bill customers, collect and record cash; goods receipt purchase orders & invoices; pay suppliers & contributors; perform cost analysis, profit analysis etc on a daily basis.
As well as supporting these core business processes the team are also responsible for processing numerous interfaces, uploads and data extracts in to and out of SAP.
The team also provide training and practical advice on best business practice and perform continuous improvement reviews on current working practices and system processes making recommendations where necessary to deliver improvements into the system or the working environment.
