Learning
In line with the commercial strategy, BBC Worldwide is considering finding a partner for its Learning business. The business has therefore been preparing for a move to a joint venture.

Learning comprises academic, consumer, interactive learning and corporate-training businesses. The academic business has been moving from video to DVD, and moving to CD-ROM and e-books for schools. Consumer-learning products include language-learning packs, revision aids such as GCSE Bitesize, lifeskills materials and English-language teaching.

Interactive learning develops bespoke e-learning materials for clients who include the Open University, the Basic Skills Agency, the National College for School Leadership and The Department for International Development.

The corporate-training business, which won the WOLCE (World of Learning Conference and Exhibition) Training Provider of the Year Award for the second year running, produces a wide range of business training solutions on video and digital media.
