Introduction and strategy
Home Entertainment (previously called Consumer Publishing)
comprises a number of publishing and retail businesses
that all have different market dynamics. The company has
identified the need to work with partners in certain areas in
order to acquire scale and compete efficiently around the
world. It found the right partner for its DVD/video operation
in 2004/05 and is now looking to forge similar alliances in the
areas of book publishing and learning.
