Teletubbies' position as a classic global brand has been supported by manufacturer Tomy's innovative new toy development, and by the introduction of exciting publishing formats, influenced by Bafta-winning new programming, Teletubbies Everywhere. Teletubbies' strong track record in video sales continued in the UK, Europe and Asia-Pacific. Teletubbies has been seen in 120 countries and translated into 44 languages. Tweenies in the UK continues to perform very strongly in video, books, licensing and has an excellent track record in live events. The 2002/03 Tweenies show entertained more than 100,000 fans across the UK and a live Tweenies show launched at Alton Towers in April 2003.
