Children's & Licensing

Children's & Licensing is the UK's second largest licensor, building children's and adult brand franchises to allow fans of programmes such as In the Night Garden, Doctor Who, Teletubbies and Top Gear to interact with their favourite characters beyond the TV show. We acquire, invest and license intellectual property both in the UK and internationally to extend into products and activities across numerous categories, from merchandise to DVD.

Within the Children's & Licensing business we have a joint venture with Ragdoll to manage and exploit their catalogue. Children's books are published through our partnership with Penguin.

When working with covermounts and licensees, BBC Worldwide operates to the highest standards of ethical practice. The BBC Worldwide Ethical Policy Code of Conduct has been in place since 2006 and all licensees and suppliers must sign up to this before they can work with us.
