BBC Magazines publishes over 50 popular consumer titles
including Top Gear, Radio Times, BBC Good Food and Gardeners'
World. We are the UK's fourth largest publisher in terms of
circulation; but it is the third largest in terms of retail sales
value (the money it puts through the tills) and we sold over 82
million copies in the past year, equal to 157 magazines per minute.
We are also the UK's number one publisher for subscriptions (the UK
publisher with the highest number of subscriptions to our
titles).
BBC Magazines also has growing audiences round the world, with
43 licensed editions of its titles in over 55 territories. In
addition, BBC Magazines has joint venture publishing partnerships
in India (with the Times of India), and in Australia (with
ACP).

The magazines business gets closer to its readers through
consumer shows such as the BBC Good Food Show and
BBC Gardeners'
World Live, via a joint venture with Haymarket Publishing, BBC Haymarket
Exhibitions.
Dovetail, a joint
venture with Dennis Publishing, handles subscriptions fulfilment
for BBC Magazines and titles from other publishers.
